Curate Assistant / Associate Clergy Role
The vicar is seeking to appoint an ordained colleague to serve as a member of the parish staff team.
Ministry in Holywood parish is ‘holystic’ (well this is Holywood) and covers a wide range of joyful duties.
This role may suit someone at the beginning of their ordained ministry. Holywood Parish has been a well trodden training ground for clergy- but it may also appeal to someone who has been ordained for some time and would like to work as part of a team.
This is not a ‘job’ so the process of appointment with the usual terms and conditions, contracts etc., it is with the agreement of the incumbent and the diocesan bishop.
Accommodation is included and the type/level of stipend will be in line with Church of Ireland guidelines.
