In Church services resumed on Friday 2nd April (Good Friday) and continue on Sunday (4th April) at 9.45am (Parish Centre) and 11.30am (Church).
Sunday evening services in April will continue online only at 6.00pm and 7.00pm on zoom.
Sunday morning children’s and youth programmes will not resume immediately. Children and young people are encouraged to come and enjoy worship with their families.
We are limited by the safe socially distanced capacity of our buildings- but do not require you to book a place- please come early to sanitise etc. You are required to wear a face covering unless you have a medical exemption. Thank you for cooperating with the requests of our stewarding team.
The Select Vestry has confirmed that this year’s General Vestry will take place on the evening of Sunday 18th April. It is a departure for us to host the meeting on a Sunday and in the context of a service of worship- the service will begin at 7.00pm.As you pray and give thanks for outgoing select vestry members please prayerfully consider whom you would like to serve in this capacity in the year ahead.
Nominations can be received on the night. However it is preferable if there is a good representation before the beginning of the meeting.
You can nominate people as People’s Glebe warden and People’s Churchwarden and up to 12 members of the Select Vestry. Candidates for these positions must be members of the General Vestry- Pauline and the clergy can confirm this for you if you are unsure.
Nominations should be accompanied by the name of a seconder and you should get the consent of the person whom you are nominating. This can be in writing or in an email to the parish office until Saturday 17th April. If we need to contact you about any aspects of the nomination process we will do so ahead of the meeting. Many thanks.
We are on track to return to ‘in person’ services on Good Friday, 2nd April 2021.
