Storehouse North Down

We support Storehouse North Down in addressing food poverty across North Down.

Storehouse North Down partners with many different charities and agencies throughout our local communities who are working day in day out with families and individuals in difficult situations. Through these partnerships we get connected to those most genuinely in need. Often, through no fault of their own, or through poor choices, those that we work with find themselves caught in cycles of poverty that seem impossible to break.

We aim to help break those cycles by providing emergency food packages for a set period of time. Each package provides everything that the family or individual will need for 3 days and we provide anywhere from one off requests to continued support over a 6 month period.

By partnering with established and skilled charities and bodies Storehouse North Down is able to provide opportunities for long term solutions that see lives changed and not just short term aid. We work hard with our partners to help people move away from the need of support and to prevent dependency.

With your help we can see a day when no one in North Down has to go hungry. You can help by donating from the items below or by volunteering.

You can donate the following food items to the Storehouse trolley at the back of church at any time:


Baby food, jam, pasta / cooking sauces.

Tomatoes, tuna, tinned meals, custard, rice pudding, ham, fruit, baked beans, vegetables, sweetcorn, spaghetti, soup

Squash, breakfast juice, long life milk, tea bags, coffee.

Pasta, dried rice, Cereal, biscuits, salt + pepper, cooking oil, cuppa soup, sugar, jelly,

Washing up liquid, cleaning products

Shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, baby wipes, nappies, toilet roll
