Darren Pollock
Youth Work Assistant
Darren Pollock was appointed as assistant youth worker in autumn 2005. He is twenty-one years old and is currently studying at Belfast Bible College in his second year of a Bachelor of Divinity Degree. His job involves working closely with Chrisby in furthering the church's ever-growing youth. His priorities include developing and building upon Tuesday night Dinner Groups, Holywood Underground (HUG) and also taking responsibilities for the smooth running of Holywood Young People (HYP). The friendly chap with a smile is enjoying getting stuck into some hard work and seeing God work powerfully in the church's youth ministry; he is quoted saying "I'm privileged and delighted to have this position! Sweet work God!". He will certainly have his work cut out with Rev Bennett cracking the whip. (See Colossians 4:1)
