Wednesday Lunches
Each Wednesday in school term time, a team of volunteers cook lunch for around 50 older members of the community and serve it in the Parish Centre. It is a substantial organisation of five cooking teams and drivers who collect and deliver some of those who come.
Those who come for lunch are very appreciative of this mid week ministry which is an opportunity to meet with others, catch up on news and have a good meal. The Parish Office will be able to give you more information about this ministry and if you would like to be involved in one of the teams we would be very pleased to hear from you.
There is always great fellowship in the kitchen on Wednesdays and it is a privilege to be part of God's work in this way.
