General Vestry Registration now open

The General Vestry is a key part of the governance of a parish. Those listed as members are entitled to vote at the Easter General Vestry which is effectively the parish’s AGM.

If you are:

  • over 18 yrs of age; and
  • and a subscriber to parish funds

we would love you to consider playing your part in the life of the parish by becoming a member.

There are two different declaration forms – one for parishioners who live within the parish boundaries and one for those who travel to Holywood to worship with us. The church wardens or clergy can clarify where you live in relation to the parish. Forms are available in church and from the parish office.

Becoming a member of the Select Vestry also requires that you can act as a charity trustee. If you have any questions about this aspect please contact the parish office.

There will be a meeting on 19th February at 7.00pm to revise the register. Forms received after this time will not be accepted.

At this meeting the names of those who have died, formally moved away from the parish or no longer meet the financial subscription requirement will be removed, and the names of new members will be added.
