HPC Video Podcast Trial Launches
You may have noticed in the service sheets recently that we've transferred all our old cassette Tape Ministry recordings of the 11:30 am and 6:00 pm Sunday services over to CDs and DVDs, thanks to Roo and others.
HPC first began podcasting interviews and talks from the Connect 7:00 pm service back in January 2006, and they proved so popular that we've continued ever since, with the odd break as we upgraded our systems and experienced a few "technical problems" (which sometimes still occur, but we do our best!) Since then we've provided 61 free downloads of news, teaching, interviews and more from HYP, Connect and the Morning services (Family Worship or Morning Prayer), totalling over 24 hours of material. We have an online archive of each podcast stream, fully searchable for you to find podcasts dating back to December 2006. More than 13 gigabytes of audio have been downloaded since April 2006 - but there's always room for more.
So today we're launching a six (we hope!) week trial of the HPC Video Podcast, bringing you the talk from the morning services along with all the readings, photos and more. Please e-mail Jeremy at the link below if you like the podcast - there are some issues with video quality remaining to be fixed, hopefully over the course of the six weeks we'll get those sorted, but we'd like to know what you think about the video podcast, and whether we should continue at the end of the trial. We'll continue to offer the HPC Mornings
and HPC Podcast
streams as usual, giving you even more choice.
The HPC Video Podcast
is availlable online now, free of charge and worldwide, either to watch in your browser, or you can download to your Mac, PC, video iPod or AppleTV
