
Jim begins a series at Worship etc on passing on our faith. What are we going to leave behind us when we die? Just stuff? Isn’t there more to life? Jim teaches that we can pass on something of lasting, eternal significance. We can think of our intangible inheritance in three broad categories:
- Spiritual
- Social
- Emotional

- What are you doing to deepen your relationship with God?
- How are you passing on your relationship with God; showing others what that means?
- Is the church family a place of security, stability, acceptance?; or is it harsh and critical?
- If your own family environment one of security, stability, acceptance, nurturing?
- What would it look like to be more loving as in your family, or as a church?
- What have you inherited from others? – apart from property (realty or personalty)
- Do you see that which you will leave to others as yours alone, to deal or dispose as you wish, or held in stewardship for the next generation? Why?

- If we use a will to pass on on material wealth, how do we pass on our values?
