Holywood Parish Church has enjoyed a long tradition of fine choral music in our Sunday services. The choir sings at our 11.30am Morning service and 5:30 pm Evening Prayer, with choir practice on Wednesday evenings. The choir’s purpose is to glorify God through singing and leading in church and, in fulfilling this purpose, the choir members themselves receive the blessings of fellowship, teamwork and the joy of singing together to a high standard.
There is also the informal vocal ensemble, Jubilate. Jubilate is ideally suited for those who would like to sing with others but do not feel they can commit to the heavier rehearsal and performance shedule of the Choir.
The Choir meets at 7:30 pm on the Wednesdays in Church. Jubilate meets at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays leading up to special events.
