The Afternoon Group provides fellowship, worship and interesting talks to all who are free. It has been running for many years, and over forty people attend the meetings. It is a very important place to belong for all of the members, many of whom are brought to the Parish Centre by helpful friends with cars, and is an opportunity to keep in touch with friends and to hear news of others.
The talks are varied and interesting. Subjects have ranged from history to housework and from the Vicar’s life story to a broadcaster’s view on life. New members are joining the Afternoon Group all the time and you would be most welcome.
Meets at 2:15 pm on the third Wednesday of the month in the Parish Centre.
